Golden Empire Transit offers free rides to veterans, military

Veterans and active-duty military will ride the GET buses for free in November. Golden Empire Transit (GET) pays tribute to the men and women of the military by offering complimentary bus service for the entire month of November. Veterans and active-duty military must show a valid identification card to take advantage of the free bus rides. GET buses run seven days a week, until 11 p. m. on most routes.
