Get ready for the Bakersfield Christmas Parade Thursday
The 2018 Bakersfield Christmas Parade takes place at 6 p. m. Thursday. In years past, more than 20,000 people have gathered to watch the annual event. Local youth choirs will be performing at different locations along 20th and 21st streets. The Bakersfield Police Department released the map of the parade route, which also shows where streets will be closed for the parade, which extends beyond the actual parade route.
