Georgetown University offers descendants of slaves priority admission

Historic D.C.-based law school Georgetown University is acknowledging its ties to slavery this year by offering descendants of about 300 slaves priority admission.The school sold 272 slaves who were working plantations in southern Maryland to pay down its debts in 1838, according to CNN.
