Former Bakersfield and KTLA anchor Chris Burrous dead at 43

Longtime KTLA anchor and former Bakersfield anchor Chris Burrous was pronounced dead after authorities found Burrous unconscious in a Glendale motel room Thursday afternoon from a possible drug overdose. Burrous served as a news anchor for the station for nearly a decade and worked at various stations across California prior to his KTLA stint, including KGET in Bakersfield in 1999 and KGPE in Fresno.
