Five new hotels coming to Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) - Hyatt, Marriott, and Hilton are all developing hotels in Bakersfield, bringing a grand total of 558 rooms to welcome visitors to Bakersfield. Within the next 14 months, a new 123 room Residence Inn by Marriott will open  along Cappuccino Way and Coffee Rd in Northwest Bakersfield. "We thought, why not bring and upper scale, extended-stay hotel in the market where it's definitely needed," Raju Verma, president of Prime Hospitality LLC said.
