Firefighters stop progress of brush fire south of Woody

Firefighters stopped the forward progress of a vegetation fire Friday morning near Poso and Granite roads south of Woody, but expected to be there until Saturday to gain containment and mop up within burned areas.The fire started at about 11:38 a.m. as a result of a vehicle accident, the Kern Path to Full Story on The Bakersfield Californian
