
A firefighter was injured and a dog was saved during a house fire in Taft early Saturday morning. Firefighters arrived around 2 a. m. to the 1000 block of Standard Street and found fire and smoke erupting from the house. Firefighters noticed a car in the driveway and immediately began to look for anyone inside the home. While searching, they did not find anyone inside, however they did rescue a pet dog, according to the Kern County Fire Department. Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
