Fire destroys two homes in central Bakersfield

Bakersfield Fire Department is investigating a fire that destroyed two homes early Tuesday morning. Firefighters said they got the call around 5 a. m. that a home on the 17 hundred block of Forrest Street was fully engulfed. When crews arrived the fire had spread to the adjacent home. Investigators say no one was injured and everyone made it out safely. The cause is still under investigation. Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
