Fire damaged three structure in Taft Monday

A house, apartment and garage sustained an estimated $150,000 in damage from a fire Monday afternoon in Taft.The 3:37 p.m. fire began in a single-family residence in the 500 block of North Street, and traveled to an adjacent apartment and a detached garage, Kern County firefighters said.
