Fernando Prunedo enters not-guilty plea in sexual-misconduct case

McFarland High School basketball coach Fernando Pruneda was arraigned in Delano Thursday afternoon. Pruneda pleaded not guilty to charges of sexual misconduct with a minor in Kern County Superior Court in Delano. He was arrested Oct. 14, after an investigation by the Kern County Sheriff’s Office. He has been placed on administrative leave, according to the McFarland Unified School District. Pruneda is schedule to appear in court again on Dec. 6. Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
