Felony warrant suspect arrested in Taft

Taft police officers arrested a man Saturday who was wanted for$225,000 worth of felony warrants. Police received a tip on where they could find 24-year-old Eduardo Alcantar-Lopez. Police said they were conducting surveillance in the area whereAlcantar-Lopez was believed to be when they saw a car begin to leave the area. Police followed the car to a Fastrip located at903 Kern Street. When the car stopped, officers drew their weapons and called forAlcantar-Lopez to come out of the car.
