Electric scooter company issues statement on dog-dragging video

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – The Bird electric scooter company has released a statement after a woman was captured on video dragging a bloodied dog behind one of its vehicles. The weekend incident sparked a strong reaction within the community. Video captured by home security cameras showed the unidentified woman dragging a dog behind a Bird scooter Sunday afternoon on A Street between 19th and 20th streets.
