Downtown Bakersfield court building evacuated because of gas smell
UPDATE (4:50 p. m. , Wednesday, Feb. 20): The Bakersfield Fire Department is in contact with Pacific Gas and Electric, but fire officials say they haven't picked up any gas readings. --- BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – The Metro Justice Building in downtown Bakersfield was evacuated Wednesday afternoon because people reported smelling a possible gas leak, according to a spokesperson with the Kern County Superior Court.
