Coroner identifies woman who died in Alfred Harrell Highway crash

The coroner’s office identified the woman who died July 3 when the vehicle she was riding in crashed into a guard rail and caught fire as Frances Lopez, 25, of Bakersfield. The incident happened at 4:41 p.m. on Alfred Harrell Highway just went of Goodmanville Road.
