Construction worker killed in fall at Amazon fulfillment center site
A construction worker was killed Saturday in a fall at theAmazon fulfillment center construction site. The Kern County Fire Department said they received a call around 3:30 p. m. for a person who fell near the 1900 block of Petrol Road. Firefighters said when they arrived they found the construction worker had died. TheOccupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating what led to the fall.
