Community shares the celebration of Kwanzaa

People from all over Bakersfield gathered to on the third day of Kwanzaa Friday afternoon at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center. The event featured the Harambee Art Gallery exhibition of African-American heritage artwork and performances by the Oblinyanko Drum & Dance Ensemble, an African stilt-walker, the Bakersfield-based Umuokpu Igbo Eze African Dance Group and more.
