Cesar Chavez Elementary wins prestigious education award
Cesar Chavez Elementary School earned a Golden Bell Award for its Morning Read Program. The Golden Bell is awarded by the California School Boards Association to recognize outstanding public-school programs for innovation, sustainability and best practices, according to a news release from Bakersfield City School District.
