Car crash knocks out power for chunk of Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – A large area of central and south Bakersfield is without power Friday morning after a car crashed into a power pole at Brundage and Hughes lanes. Pacific Gas and Electric Co. reports around 10 a. m. that more than 2,200 customers are without power. The utility is estimating restoration by 12:45 p. m. MORE | CHECK FOR OUTAGE UPDATES WITH PG&E.
