California state senator wants freeway lanes with no speed limit

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – State Sen. John Moorlach wants dedicated lanes on Highway 99 and Interstate 5 with no speed limit. The Republican, who represents Orange County, says in a news release Tuesday that, “If Sacramento is serious about allowing Californians to travel between Los Angeles and the Bay Area, and High-Speed Rail will take too long to build, let's construct four additional lanes with no maximum speed limit to provide for high speed on a safe road. ” Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
