Body found with apparent gunshot wound
A person was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound Saturday morning in central Bakersfield, according to a release from the Bakersfield Police Department.Police were called at 6:44 a.m. to the 800 block of T Street for a welfare check on a subject lying down in a backyard, the report said.
