Body found in backyard of southwest Bakersfield home was burned and buried

The man whose body was found in the backyard of a southwest Bakersfield home died of a drug overdose and the body was concealed by Dennis Marroquin and another person, Marroquin told Bakersfield Police officers, according to the arrest record. Marroquin and a second person allegedly transported the dead man to the backyard of the house at 6209 Hathaway Avenue, where they burned and buried the body. Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
