Bicyclist struck and killed

A woman riding a bicycle was struck and killed Monday evening in east Bakersfield, police report.The woman was riding south on Owens Street crossing Niles Street at about 7:20 p.m. when she was hit in the middle of the roadway by a vehicle heading east on Niles.
