Bakersfield police give parents trick-or-treat safety tips

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – Police are urging parents to take caution when sending kids out for trick-or-treating this Halloween. Officers say parents should be on the lookout for events hosted by well-known agencies. Police also suggest supervising kids during their trick-or-treating route to ensure they’re approaching homes that are well-lit and safe.
