Bakersfield officials hold groundbreaking ceremony for 24th Street project

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – City officials held a groundbreaking ceremony Thursday for the 24th Street widening project. The project, which will expand the 24th Street/Oak Street intersection and widen a stretch of 24th to about M Street, should be finished in a little over a year, City Manager Alan Tandy said last month.
