Bakersfield firefighters to receive World Trade Center piece for memorial
The Bakersfield Fire Department will receive six-and-a-half ton steel girder from the World Trade Center for a 9-11 memorial in west Bakersfield.Firefighters will travel to New York March to retrieve the girder, according to a fire department news release.
