Bakersfield Fire Department offers Christmas safety tips

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – The Bakersfield Fire Department wants folks to be safe with holiday decorations. Most candle-induced fires happen during this time of the year, BFD Battalion Chief Casey Snow said. The public is urged to keep a vigilant eye when candles are lit and keep candles away from flammable objects.
