BPD warns of possible check scam

The Bakersfield Police Department is warning the public of a possible fraudulent check scam targeting local businesses.The BPD received a report Wednesday of the possible scam wherein a suspect contacted a local day care provider with information from a Craigslist advertisement, according to a Path to Full Story on The Bakersfield Californian
