BPD: Suspect bashes out patrol car rear window, sustains injuries

A suspect in the back of a patrol car busted out the rear windshield Saturday night and injured himself in the process. Police said they arrested a man around 4:15 p. m. out front of the police station for public intoxication. While driving the man to the hospital to receive medical care, the man became agitated and shattered the rear window of the patrol car and jumped out of the vehicle near Highway 178 and Beale Avenue.
