BPD: Man arrested for celebratory gunfire

Police arrested a man Monday night after he allegedly fired a gun into the air in a celebratory manor. Police said they received a ShotSpotter alert around 9:00 p. m. near the 1200 block of 3rd Street. They arrived and hear several gunshots being fired in the rear yard of a home. Police found 31-year-old Anthony Cardosa in possession of a firearm magazine and found several spent casings in his yard. Cardosa was taken into custody without any further incident.
