Another suspect arrested in case of body found in Bakersfield backyard

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – Another man has been arrested in connection with the case of a body found buried in the backyard of a southwest Bakersfield home. The body, that of 21-year-old Joseph Lara, was discovered when the people living there found a human toe in the yard. David Williams, 30, was booked early Thursday morning into Kern County jail on charges that include involuntary manslaughter, conspiracy, and destroying or concealing evidence.
