Alta Sierra Ski resort may open soon
Bakersfield skiers and snowboarders may soon have nearby access to white slopes and stunning views. Alta Sierra Ski Resort is seeing more snow this week than it has in the past five years and is hoping to open soon. Brian Kelly, general manager, said the resort in Wofford Heights is accessible to Bakersfield residents. “We’re within an hour and a half of Bakersfield.
