Alta Sierra Ski Resort announces Sunday is opening day
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – Alta Sierra Ski Resort announced Thursday that it will open for the first time this season on Sunday. Alta Sierra said 16 inches of new powder fell Wednesday night, on top of about 12 inches of base snow. The lifts will run from 9 a. m. to 4 p. m.
