Alcohol suspected in deadly late night crash in South Bakersfield

Bakersfield Police Department is investigating a crash that killed one man and injured two others around midnight Monday. Investigators said the driver of a black coupé was getting off of Highway 99 when he hit another driver in a white sedan who was going east on Panama Lane. Police are looking into whether alcohol and speeding were factors at the time of the crash. The driver in the white sedan died at the scene. Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
