
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – Adventist Health Bakersfield plans to build a new hospital in the northwest part of the city. Sharlet Briggs, the hospital’s president and CEO, said Tuesday that they’re planning to build a full-service medical center near Coffee and Brimhall roads. They’ve reached capacity at their existing hospital, long known as San Joaquin Community Hospital, and they’re in an expansion mode with Adventist Health Tehachapi Valley also slated to open soon.
