Adventist Health Bakersfield earns 'Top General Hospital' honor
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – Adventist Health Bakersfield, long known as San Joaquin Community Hospital, has been named a “Top General Hospital” by a nonprofit health industry watchdog organization. The Leapfrog Group honored only five other California hospitals as Top General Hospitals. The Leapfrog Group CEO said in a news release that earning a Top Hospital designation is “an incredible feat” achieved by fewer than 6 percent of eligible hospitals nationwide.
