9/11 remembrance ceremony to take place at Bakersfield memorial

The Bakersfield Fire Department will host a 9/11 memorial service Tuesday morning. The remembrance ceremony will take place at 8:30 a. m. at the BFD 9/11 World Trade Center Memorial, 1315 Buena Vista Road. The public is welcome to attend the ceremony. The event is expected to last about 40 minutes and will include speeches from the Bakersfield Fire Chief Anthony Galagaza, Bakersfield Police Chief Lyle Martin and Mayor Karen Goh.
