72-yr-old Woman Hit By Car, Sexually Assaulted

On June 15th, 2017 at about 7:00 am, Kern County Sheriff's deputies from the Delano substation responded to a report of a kidnapping and attempted sexual assault that had occurred in the McFarland area. During the investigation deputies determined that a 72-year-old woman victim had been walking on a dirt road just east of Browning Road Elementary School in east McFarland when she was struck from behind by a vehicle.
