2 workers hurt when 55-gallon drum explodes in north Bakersfield

UPDATE: A Kern County Fire Department spokesman said a 55-gallon drum exploded in the back of a building operated by NuSil. Two workers were injured. He said the drum contained “mixed flammable liquids,” but he didn't say what exactly caused the explosion.
