2 dogs found dead in house fire

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – Two dogs were found dead inside a home that caught fire Wednesday morning. Bakersfield Fire Department Battalion Chief Mike Lencioni said firefighters arrived to the house on Melwood Street to find smoke coming from the roof. Firefighters went inside, found the flames and were “able to knock it down fairly quickly,” Lencioni said.
