1 in 10 KHSD students skipped school because they didn't feel safe

Kern High School District hosted their third 'Community Forum regarding student behavior and school climate' Thursday night in the West High auditorium. During the forum administrators shared data which they believed supported their progress in implementing the PBIS system. PBIS is a disciplinary system which KHSD has been phasing in over the past few years. The system has resulted in suspensions being way down district-wide. Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
